Risky to Top Off Beer in Carboy

It is not a good idea to top off fermenter with water. Risk of contaminating your home brewed beer is greater than the risk, or impacts, of oxidation. There is no need to use glass marbles to take up space either. If space is left in the carboy, leave it.
